Just received this from HH house D, guys, you have established yourselves as the most enthu OG not only in HH, but in entire school. So JIAYOU for the following events. Of course I must be sensible and not expect you all to commitment to everything, but if you can, just volunteer your help, it helps a lot!!! T'eam Rocket!!! Let's Rock it!!!

Hello guys! As you probably already know, the IHC Aesthetics season is going to start in just about 2 weeks' time! :D We've had a good start so far by winning Orientation, so let us all continue to put in our best and maintain our advantageous position.

For the year of 2008, the IHC events that will be held during the Aesthetics season are as follows:

Week 6: Writer's Guild (4th Feb - 3rd Mar), Photography (4th Feb - 3rd Mar)

Week 7: Cybergaming (11th, 12th, 13th and 14th Feb)

Week 8: Bridge (20th Feb), Chess Day - International Chess, Chinese Chess and Weiqi (20th Feb), Dramafeste (22nd and 23rd Feb)

Week 9: Cultural Day - Indian Rangoli, Malay Congkak and Japanese Chess (27th Feb), Musicfeste (28th Feb), One Earth Green Race (29th Feb)

That's a total of 12 minor events and 1 major event (Dramafeste), which adds up to a whooping 87 points in total!! Hence, on behalf of the House D, I would like to ask you guys to help rahrah your OGs to go down and participate in these IHC events as much as possible. Signup sheets will be posted on the House Board outside LT 2 from tomorrow onwards. Let's all do our best and rock for IHC 2008! :)

hey guys, hope school's going okay for you all :)

this is not supposed to be an emo post or anything but i just want to say thankyou especially for allowing me to readily confide in yall regarding the initial problems i had integrating with my class. im grateful that in the midst of trying my very best to bond with my classmates i could always fall back on you guys for company between lessons and after school. it might have seemed extremely insignificant to merely contact me to ask me where i am or to join you all in the canteen during free blocks or stuff along those lines but for someone feeling extremely lost in a crowd of unfamiliar faces that definitely meant alot.

as we go on to develop closer friendships with our peers from our class and subsequently, our ccas lets not forget our very first friends in rj who helped us rid the initial inertia of being around the opposite sex and who opened their hearts so warmly to reach out to us despite their unfamiliarity as well with the people and events around. thankyou to yall, my dear og mates, for all the love and laughter. lets make all this fun part of our weekly routine; im sure when schoolwork starts piling up we'd need to destress in this way alot more, haha. its really not that hard to keep in touch with one another -- just be as active as possible in these many platforms for communication (yahoogroups, blog, email, facebook) and try as much as possible to turn up for the upcoming gatherings.

It's really heart warming for us to see your posts! Indeed, having you all as our OG-lings is one big blessing. If you go google and search 'T'sparanza', blogs from mostly HH08 people would appear among the top searches and you guys are truely the highlights! We're so proud of you!!! =D

While acclimating to the new JC environment, do spread the enthusiasm and spirit of T'eam rocket to other Rafflesians around you. =D

Hello hello!

Hope that you guys and gals have been enjoying all that lectures and fun with your new CT Class. However, lets do keep this OG spirit flaming on such that we can tell everyone we're still united as one this time next year.

How could we achieve this? Well i guess it's time we have to discuss about OG outings and whether we want to have a fixed meeting each week. I would suggest an OG CIP session- one that we could bond and help the community at the same time; do tell me if you have any suggestions too!

Birthdays coming up- help is definitely needed to plan for the celebrations so please volunteer your services, especially if it's a close friend of yours whose birthday we're celebrating.

Hey everyone! It's such a pity that 4 days of fun are over in a flash! Since fangting has already written a recount of the 4 days, I shall not repeat. Haha. I write this post for a very special reason.

Before entering rj, I've heard so many bad rumours about the Raffles ppl. However I must really admit, the already Rafflesians in TeamRocket proved (and will continue to prove) those rumours wrong! In our og, everyone makes friends with each other regardless of which secondary school we come from. Some of my friends lament otherwise... Hence, I really really really <3>!!! Not forgetting the people from other schools AND our OGLs, everyone played a part in forging worthy friendships during T'sparanza! Thank you everyone, for making this orientation such a memorable start.

Whenever I think of the non-raffles ppl being chased out of rj in time to come (hopefully not!), I always remember this line from our batch song:

Maybe we will drift apart, but promise you my friend, left u a space in my heart

We must stay bonded till J2! :D

The four days of orientation has passed and i can really say that i had a great blasting time (considering that my OG name is team rocket) :) Whoohoo! Team Rocket rawks like mad okay. I feel really awed that all 21 of us can gel so well in a matter of four days. There's Victoria and Jonathan with their funny scissors-paper-stone game, then Issac with his unique pointed hairstyle, and then Bimbo and Hippie, Pikachu! (sooo cuuute!), Yu Zhun with his cool twenty sided dice that led him to win "Follow the Leader" via pure luck, Wu Yang who loves to sing solo, the truth or dare games (TEEHEE!)... so much and so much. And my fruitless efforts at mass dance as well as O'nite item (sorry guys!) are equally memorable. O'nite item!!! Ah yes, the Saturday where we all went over to our Taitai's place to cheorograph our masterpiece. And the mass convos on msn. This is a really interesting thing that i will never, ever forget. Even though I am disappointed that we didn't get through the auditions in the end (I still feel our item is at least better than Titanic's. The cross-dressing dance was, well, a little crooked, but we still have to give it to them cos it was undeniably good. I wonder why ppl really love seeing guys like this?) I don't feel that it has been a waste. Rather, it was another godsend chance to get us together to strengthen our friendships yet again, and I am thankful.

We were strangers starting out on a journey, never dreaming what we had to go through. Now here we are, I'm suddenly standing at the beginning with you. No one told me i was going to find you. Unexpected, what you did to my heart. When I lost hope, you were there to remind me this is the start...And life is a road i wanna keep going, love is a river i wanna keep flowing, life is a road, now and forever wonderful journey. I'll be there when the world stops turning, I'll be there when the storm is through, in the end i wanna be standing at the beginning with you.

The war games are sooo cool man! It was really hilarious when our entire OG would scream and frighten of the 'monsters' during "pacman". And how we would sabo Buckle Buckley with our raffia balls whahahaha! If only such things would happen in real life pacman games. And then we had the catching game whereby the girls showed off our prowess and scared the **** out of the guys. ROOAAR! and we also had the "Uprising" game which involves the concepts of physics. As you knew it, Hadley Hullett's flag rose first. And out of these three games we won at least two. For this section of the IHC, HH emerged champion!!! GO HADLEY GO HULLETT GO! BRING EM DOWN TO THE GROUND! We rock, totally.

Haiz all these thoughts are making me as emo as last night, when the T'SPARANZA burnt, reflecting the passion of our youth igniting the hopes for the future. And that is what T'SPARANZA is all about. HOPE -- that, was what I felt when I watched the dancing flames as we sang our batch song. Afterwards our OGLs had brought us to the track to release the rocket that they had made specially for us -- awww it was soooo sweet of them. I am really grateful to them for they guided us through all this while, to ease us into this unfamiliar environment and it was because of them that we are now what we are today. They showed us that our days ahead in RJC would be full of hope and worth looking forward to. But most of all, I am grateful to the all of Team Rocket (including OGLs, of course) for you guys gave me my first strong and fun-filled friendships in RJC. I hope this lasts forever. TEAM ROCKET! LET'S ROCK IT!!!
